Heat-resistant steel may be characterized by excellent resistance to oxidizing gases in high temperatures, which leads to the formation of corrosion. This characteristics means that it applies to the production of various kinds of industrial ovens and steam boilers, fans, rails, caps and transport elements. So in these devices and products whose function is associated with difficult conditions in terms of temperature. In order to improve its properties as an alloy additive in the manufacture of employing aluminum, chromium and silicon which shows a greater affinity for oxygen than iron. The use of additives such as vanadium , tungsten or molybdenum on the other hand affects the heat-resistance behavior - load carrying resistance at elevated temperatures as well as its resistance to rapid change. For its welding commonly we are using special electrodes.

With this kind of steel heat-resistant plates are formed which retain a high resistance to chemicals at high temperatures. Among these metal ferritic, ferritic-pearlitic, ferritic-austenitic and austenitic steels which differ from each operating temperature range (from 350oC to 1200oC) and the structure of the steel. The first two types have the highest resistance to oxidation, but the least mechanical stress. An additional advantage of these products is a great strength so it does not collide and does not melt. Most are used for the production of equipment for companies in the chemical and petrochemical industry.

Boiler steel is a variation of carbon steel whose main feature is the heat-resistance. It can be used at temperatures up to 600oC. Because it is used for the production of products that are exposed to high temperatures - machine parts, pressure equipment and accessories for the construction of other equipment such as rotary shafts, turbines or bolts and hex nuts.
